Usually the phenomenon of aurora borealis is something only seen in Northern Hemispheres, but on a flight from Frankfurt to Toronto, these lights were seen over Greenland. This phenomenon is caused by a solar flare, some navigation systems may be causing some problems for the next couple of days, but really nothing for us to worry about than beautiful light.
